May 31. At request of Vi Coops (to wh. 2 [illegible] attached) went to their [illegible] at Noyelle Viou with refce to a case . Guest of Major Daly (DAAG) Delightful places. [illegible] & flowers fine & very refreshing. Enjoyable ride.

June 4. Central [illegible]. Pros. 4 cases, all convicted.

5. Ditto 1 case - convicted (Pioneer canteen). Weather still v. warm in the day - cold at night.

7. C of Inquiry at Wailly into death of an officer. Self Pres.

8. Conducted an investigation all am. at 2nd Div Field Pen. Sta [illegible] to the Bde Hqr Bn Refer [illegible] case. Before w. take over from Div. Claims Officer, Capt G. Steward 28th Bn (but never did)

11. To Doulleurs to 3 Cdn S[illegible]

12. To Bn at Wailly to arrange details of Lt Faulkner (88th Bn) in wh. I prosecute

13. To help Bn to arrange 2 cases - In pm. held a session of Ch of Inquiry

16. Ch of Inquiry court at Doulleurs

18. Central [illegible]. - successfully defended 2 Sigrs 6Bde . Heavy rain at night.
