23. Sunday. Ch of Inquiry cont'd
24. Very busy. Move in propect.
25. Central FGem - Appt'd Presdt of Ch of Inquiry re fire at MG Bn- worked late
26. Central & GEM cont'd. Visited MGBn to arrange inquiry tomorrow.
27. Ct of Inquiry. My hot room swarming with flies.
29. Bn came out after line relieved by RCR.
30. 2qn Bn moved to MANIN
July 1st Dominion Day : Marvellous Day. Cdn troops sport at Tiucques - Div Hqrs moved to Le Cauroy W. of Avesues le Combe N. of Doulleus. Could not attend the sports as I had to be present A&Q Branches during move - Went by lorry through lovely summer scenes to Aveanes - walked from there to Manin & then to Le Couron . Road from Givenchy le Noble to Signereuil one great avenue quite roofed with branches - a low wide road & high paths on either side.
