had been there before, but could not see much difference. A City, a couple of thousand years old dont change a great deal in a generation of course. There was improvements. And the conductors - say, some style about them- short skirts-verry short-exposing some verry nice legs and - knees -, and they were verry civil and efficient. Seemed to think quite a lot of the Canadian soldiers. Of course I took in all the sights, even to Mdm Tusauds. Went to the Town, the Abbey and House of Parliament. I also visited Billingsate and had a real good smell of fish. Went to Petticoat Lane Sunday Morning. They have still got there market but the place had changed name. The first Place I went though was the Sailors Home, Well Str & Dock Str. Called on the Superintendent, there took me around and showed all the improvements since I were there before. I boarded at the Scandanavian Sailors House, West India Dock Road, where I hav some real old country Grub. About life here in Camp there is verry lille to tell anything about it. When I get back there will be time enough for that, and for a few anecdotes and some incedents from London, which are better related by word of Mouth. Scotty used to write to me regular but stopped all at once about three months ago and I have been anxious about him. There is not many here from Cariboo. There is a Corporal Trueman from Quesnell and a young boy by the name of Henry allso
