The weather has gone to bits lately, it's been cloudy & rather wet, I expect all the gunning has something to do with it --

Our 2nd Bn. were shelled in Billets the other day -- one Capt was killed & 2 other Capts wounded to say nothing of some men, rotten luck as Billets is supposed to be a time of rest -

However it does not do to worry about those kinds of things out here or you would go balmy in a week, I am glad to say I have an inner feeling that I am going to come through this all right but I'll know more this time next year -
