I hear from Florence now & again - she is showing a wonderful spirit I can tell you. I suppose mother was pretty badly cut up when she heard, but for Goodness sake, dont let them get too 'blue', I hope she & Father have gone to Frisco by this time to see Uncle Bill -

How is Dugald keeping? fit I hope & making money, you might remind him of my existence as the blighter hasn't written since April -- of course I know he is too busy on Fort Street to write often --
