scrap that is sure to come off soon He certainly apppreciated your letter Mother so get some one to drop him a line again. I am sure he wont be able to stand the wet & cold very long. You know even in their nice warm weather the trenches are full of muck and water. It gets cold and damp a night now and I guess the rainy season will set in soon I am feeling better every day now, that is because I am getting more work & exercise. Some days when it is extra damp I feel kind of stiff but on the whole I am all right I had a fine long letter from letter from Mame Coughlen last week. She had a letter that had not
