Dec. shops & excellent esp stationers & optical & glass goods. Town is clean & seems to be doing good business. People look well [illegible] & well fed. Prices are reasonable even for food & scarce commodities - Only soap of all absent. Sun came out today, The Munster (fpriest RC Church) is rather fine inside & has a great appearance of solemnity & open air exterior
