I shall never forget the mess tin of hot tea that I got from a cook wagon on this Saturday when we were all feeling fairly played out.

The sand dunes at Lydd were beautiful particularly in the early morning. The wild flowers specially anchusa(?) bright blue on grey stalks very lovely
