Sat 30 June 1917 - Lt Gen'l Sir Arthur Currie paid us a long informal call in morning - Bn competitions all morning - Heavy rain recd day

Sunday 1 July 1915 - 50th Anniv. of Confed. of Can - Bde Ch. Parade - Army Commdr Gen'l Horne & Divn Can present. Move order came in.

Monday 2 July - Bn moved forward to Bouvigny Boqeffs . Self & 11 other officers went to Barlin to GCM at wh. I prs. Offr acquitted . Lunched with 4th Bdge - Dined at Stensin with Clyne when met Major Burch & Stan Okell.

Thursday 3 July - In evening POW input in while training details with Capt Briggs went to Petit Saurs I plan life at night.

Wednesday 4th July - Details shaking down - Getting settled & [illegible] & nominal rolls.
