with Willie Langley & Cyril Mogg who going over to France with detachment tomorrow. Saw Rant Scharff Asser. Had splendid bath in Sandgate with Macon & dinner there & then came back with him & padres. Bn. inspection by GSO - fiasco. Whole Bn. being split up in training cos. & duties & fatigues. Everyone depressed.

Tues June 13 Willie Langley persuaded to withdraw his applicn for overseas to allow junior to to take his place.

Friday June 16 Havg arrid to spend week end at [illegible] recd tgm that Miss Roberts got measles.
