7 March 1918

My dearest Mother

I am now in England staying with Nell's sister Milly for a couple of nights and on Saturday I hope to see Carleton once more. Yesterday I was in Cornwall having paid a fleeting visit to Ince Castle Farm as it is now called.

Curiously enough the roads were placarded with notices of a sale of the moveables at Ince Castle Farm. It is indeed situated in
