My dearest Mother

The last Canadian mail brought me a fine budget of house letters from Zeffie, three from Lindley, two from Nell, and one each from Maud and Harry. They are great things, these letters from home, and they do more good than the writers can perhaps appreciate.

Your last letter which come shortly before these others I have not answered and therefore I am writing to you first.
