Today also I received your very welcome telegram that the papers dealing with my recall were in England on the 23rd of last month. They may come along & they may not. When we leave here it should be possible for me to get away without shirking my duty for the great burden of the administration of occupied German territory will be lifted from the shoulders of the DAAG & he will be able to attend to his normal
