See an aeroplane being treated to German shrapnel-it gets clear-Hear the motor transport service cost 1/2 million dollars a day- Buy a souvenir Ypres badge for Ada, which I hope she will wear. Operations- at midnight a party of three officers & one NCO went out to the enemy's wire opposite Trench 139-succeeded in removing 3 sets of double angle irons each supporting
