In the afternoon with 2 others pass aiming test, with a rifle fixed in a clamp on on a tripod, triangle of error about 1/8" side. Kitchener speaks to workmen at Liverpool promising strong measures if refuse overtime. Route march past Hyithe rifle ranges to three miles from Romney, Romney marshes now drained but cut by deep ditches behind the dyke.
