I have $43.00 belonging to No. 3 Co. 88h Bn CEF. Carew Martin who commands the Co wishes me to pay it to the funds of the 88h Regiment.

Will you therefore give W.E. Oliver a cheque for this amount + charge my withdrawal a/c with the firm.

We leave here on 18h for the 30h Reserve Bn CEF at Shorncliffe where I stayed for Musketry School.

Hanl + James are right at the front. The former commanding 2 machine guns - Howard + Horton have gone overseas
