then went back to the house. They were not very behind them, not very far. I was on the street in front of them, Chung Lungs when I saw them. They were towards the river on this side of ----Chung Lungs house ( the side nearest to the Court house) I was standing near the electric light post. I was standing alone and quite a number of men stood a short distance from me. I heard somebody shouting and when I got inside I saw the fighting. Leung Wah, Sing Dick and Lee Hung were fighting in the flat besides Thorn Ching Lungs. They were chasing Lee Hung. I did not see them fighting, only chasing him. I was on the street then and saw them chasing him below the electric light post, I saw them run down between the two houses. Lots of people stood round but only the three ran between the two houses. I don't know what way they ran after they went between the two houses. I saw that. The three of them were running when I saw them between seven and eight. I am sure it was not later. It was not very bright nor very dark. There was no electric light burning. There was a little moon. After they passed between the two houses, I saw no more of them. I heard after that that he was killed. After I saw Lee Hung going down between the houses I never saw him again. I never told anyone. I never saw him since I saw Lung Wah and Sing Dick between eleven and twelve o'clock in my room, the place I sleep. I saw the two of them. They were in the room before I went in. They were there between eleven and twelve o'clock. I walked around the store after eight o'clock till that time. I did not ask anybody what happened after I saw them run between the houses.
