My Dearest Mother. This is the first night I have stayed in camp since we have been down here and I wouldn't have been in tonight if I hadn't been on duty. Vernon has gone out to Ellen's I don't know where heis gone from there but I expect he will go to see Peg Howe as they are going south on Sunday. We were out to a dance at Mrs Halls last night and had quite a nice time, she has dances out there every Tuesday
