FOR GOD FOR KING AND FOR COUNTRY WITH THE CANADIAN EXPEDITIONARY FORCE CANADA Y.M.C.A ON ACTIVE SERVICE

Hastings Park Vancouver B.C. Nov 14/17

My Dearest Mother.

This is the first night I have stayed in camp since we have been down here and I wouldn't have been in tonight if I hadn't been on duty.

Vernon has gone out to Ellen's I don't know where he is going from there but I expect he will go to see Peg Howe as they are going south on Sunday. We were out to a dance at Mrs Halls last night and had quite a nice time, she has dances out there every Tuesday

BC Archives, MS-0249 Box 1 File 15 / ELLISON FAMILY. Vernon. / Mrs. Price Ellison, correspondence inward from her son Albert J. Ellison, 1915, 1918.
