We enjoyed much hospitality both in Vancouver + Victoria - We motered most of the time in Victoria, where the roads are so good + scenery most interesting - We took a G.T.O. boat from there to Prince Rupert, + mothered through Stanley Park, in the 4 hours we had to share in Vancouver - Mrs Hamilton went to the hotel, to telephone, and I quite naturally, of course, made for the cigar stand, to see you, + was disappointed!! Quite incidentally, you looked very pretty + sweet, but perhaps he told you that before the evening was over-?
