We enjoyed much hospitality both in Vancouver & Victoria - We motored most of the time in Victoria, where the roads are so good & scenery most interesting - We took a G.T.O. boat from there to Prince Rupert, & motored through Stanley Park, in the 4 hours we had to share in Vancouver - Mrs Hamilton went to the hotel, to telephone, and I quite naturally, of course, made for the cigar stand, to see you, & wasn't disappointed!! Quite incidentally, you looked very pretty & sweet, but perhaps he told you that before the evening was over-? It's a delightful trip to Prince Rupert when the weather is fine - Ashe & I (our London mgr) were lucky enough to get a double suite, with bath, which some disgustingly rich American had given up - We went out, you know, by the C.N.R. & came home over the G.T.O. so saw the Rockies through new routes: they were both particularly interesting -
