| − | So very sorry dear not to have got a letter off to you before, but since returning to England in December, have been continually on the go & very little spare time. I got somewhat tired of being at home, & after Father got better & could once more resume duties, I made up my mind to trot away again, much against their wishes, as they wanted me to stop at least over Xmas; & I never even sent you a few lines to wish you a merry Xmas! really am feeling very ashamed of myself; please old girl forgive an old sinner like myself.
