(8) My name is George Kerr MacNaughton. I am a duly qualified medical practitioner in and for the province of B.C.

I reside at [Connerland?].

About 8:30 pm on Sunday, April 26th, I attended an injured Chinaman, named Chow Wing, at the [Connerland?] General Hospital.

The patient was lying on a stretcher, dressed in miner's garb with blood flowing freely from a wound in left thigh.

He was suffering from severe shock which I attempted to overcome by application of appropriate treatment.

Examination showed the following injuries:

1. Lacerated flesh wound 5" long in front of left thigh completely severing muscle and soft tissue down to knee.

2. Large lacerated wound on left side of head extending from lower [lat?-ock] of head and turning down whole side of scalp, exposing bone of skull.

3. Fracture and bruise of rt.[?] arm near shoulder.

4. Fracture left leg just below knee

5. Fracture of bones of left wrist

6. Bruise and abrasions on left shin breast, sides of body and face.

Assisted by Dr. Hicks I cleansed, sutured + dressed the wounds and applied only temporary treatment to fractures on account of his weakened condition.
