Ive just got 5 mins to catch this mail so I'm writing just to wish you a merry Xmas & to send you our address if the other boys haven't done so everything is all mixed up & it raining like H__ all the time, & mud up to the waist the climate & conditions here has put all the boys on the sick list, the Barkerville bunch are away on leave Mikey is in London & the others @ their respective Homes, now dont kick because this is short if you could see our camp I know you would excuse us kindly remember me to all the boys & the seasons greeting to everybody, kind regards to all the family & all @ the Hotel
