Dear Fred

Last night I received your letter 2/7/17 enclosing Teasdales bill etc. I to day, by the same route as before (Pay Office) started 30$ across. Yes I know it is not good sense to pay out too much money for horse keep & I would have sold before I left Cariboo if I had supposed it would take as long as it is taking to wind this up. But I feel pretty certain that we shall be home (if we are coming at all) some time next summer, So realy it only amounts to paying next winters feed The charges are not higher than I expected but I had thought W. & C. got her up with them each spring & I left 10 with T. Nicol to give to W & C toward her first winters keep. I am very sorry she has been left in Beaver Valley during
