First Canadian to have their buttons polished. Ranks were steady. Guiney wants to know where they keep King George; want to chaw the rag with him. Too much ceromonial & elaborate parade evolution. Today tired out standing interminably at attention. General clean-up. I have a awful time cleaning up the windows. Nothing else all day. Spend afternoon in museum.
