of the American transports, as they are arriving I believe every day. By the way I was lucky in having a good view of the review of America's new army by H.M. the King. I stood in the crowd right in front of Buckingham Palace, had a very good view of the Tommies marching past and saw the king and Queen splendidly also Duke of Connaught and other bit "nuts", it was interesting seeing the King taking the Salutes as they branched by. They had several of the finest bands there, the Scots Guards I think headed the procession
