of the American transports, as they are arriving I believe every day. By the way I was lucky in having a good view of the review of America's new army by H.M. the King. I stood in the crowd right in front of Buckingham Palace, had a very good view of the Tommies marching past and saw the King and Queen splendidly also Duke of Connaught & other big "nuts", it was interesting seeing the King taking the salutes as they branched by. They had several of the finest bands there, the Scots Guards I think headed the procession
