Noakes & an Italian friend Secchi call with a motor car and take Murphy and I to Dorking & Kingston - 80 miles altogether - wonderful trip - beautiful country near Dorking Box Hill. Over to No 4 in evening & chat with Maj. Marians. Afternoon with Murphy & [?] Gill to Windsor & go upstream in a skiff - take several amusing photos - tea on bank - Thames 100 foot wide.
