No 4 London General Hospital

To town with Murphy - call on Young - play out badly - Nellie Gauley & friend Milo Edwards call at hospital- take them to Richmond - very foolishly. bad night - no sleep at all.

Sir Roger Casement hanged.

Very bad all morning. Noakes & an Italian friend Secchi call with a motor car and take Murphy and I to Dorking & Kingston - 80 miles altogether - wonderful trip - beautiful country near Dorking Box Hill. Over to No 4 in evening & chat with Maj. Marians.

Afternoon with Murphy & [illegible] Gill to Windsor & go upstream in a skiff - take several amusing photos - tea on bank - Thames 100 foot wide, no current.

Go to Young's - breakdown and am sent home under escort - bad night.
