Well Mother I must stop now as I'm scribbling too much This should arrive about Xmas time, so I send my very best wishes to you and Pa and Uncle Bill for a Merry Xmas ; mind you celebrate the occasion in the good old style, a bottle of two of good old crusted. I hope next Xmas will see us all celebrating together. You can think of me putting away the odd glass full, on the Rhine this Xmas!!
