keen to see what sort of reception the civilians will give us, I expect they will be pretty cold, from all accounts, according to the French & Belgian civilians they hate Canadians the most! It has certainly been a great experience our victorious march through Belgium, all the towns that we have passed through, all the welcome, towns beflagged etc. Vive L'Angleterre , Vive La Canadiens! The route that we have travelled you can follow out on the map as I am allowed to mention names of places. We came by way of Valenciennes, Temappes, Hensies, Soignes, Nivelles, Gemblout, Andenne.
