Of all that Kitchener new army are second to none in this country and are making there marks more noted every chance they get every one is in the best of spirits and think from the way things look this spring that we will have Fritz ready to quit this summer he is sure paying a heavy toll now and he won't have any rest this year Jack Ellis got killed about a month or so ago he was wounded in a sap in no mans land with machine gun bullet & before he was able to get back he got gassed Scotty Gilchrist and some others went out & got him the next day Scotty is all right yet. I saw him & Tom Brierly & Mickey Mercer last night
