it us for six weeks, and some very good work was accomplished in the way of fighting.  but it was a big sacrifice. Capt. Edwards had his two hands blown off and Alf Smith was killed. (Jim (?) Mills son) Major Foster is getting the D.S.O. for taking one of Fritzs strong points with his company.
