A friend of mine sent me a "Garnet" - in it I saw your picture. I told Capt F that you had sent it to me and he is in a horrible state of mind as he thought you should have sent him one. I have Ross Cotton sharing my [illegible]. It is very cold indeed. We have to get into [illegible] soon. Cant you come over and give that "Cataract" show here. Had tea with the Sterlings in London.
