Miss Leighton Shaughnessy Heights Vancouver B. C. Canada

Salisbury Plains Nov 17

A friend of mine sent me a "Garnet" - in it I saw your picture. I told Capt F that you had sent it to me and he is in a horrible state of mind as he thought you should have sent him one. I have Ross Cotton sharing my tent. It is very cold indeed. We have to get into huts soon. Cant you come over and give that "Cabaret" show here. Had tea with the Sterlings in London.
