They Americans were a good looking lot of men & no doubt will do good work. The crowds that turned out to see the parade beggars description. It was certainly a sight I should hate to have missed.

Well I did fairly well in the short time that I had in looking up relatives don't you think. You will be glad to hear, I thought Uncle Tom was looking well, he is very keen on his summer place & has gone up there for a month to get some fishing & also to get his vegetable garden in shape.
