June 12th Took over Reg from Lieu Willcocks who has gone to DANEVILLE to relieve Brooks in order for him to go on leave. Very hot.

June 13th Went over roads. Sent Major Thomas. Colonel Cliffe wishes us to join his mess.

June 14th Confusing Orders. My transfer reads - The undermentioned officers transferred from 14th Btn Lev Reg to 154 Sub Coy on 14-5-17 under A.C1 6N of 1917 Capt L.P. Brooks, Capt Moyle, and Lieuts J.M. Carr and Willcocks.

June 15th Saw all my mess lunching. Its very hot. Wilcocks came over to drive with us and then returning. I cycled to see Capt. Warley of the 302 R.C. Coy. Colonel straffed me in [illegible] about. L.L. Wagons and horses. I placed Sgt Heard and Private [illegible] Open Arrest.

June 16th Brought prisoners before
