cakes and pudding etc. there at prices they would sell at in Van. Gee but the bread we get is fierce. it weighs heavy & is like cake the way it breaks all up & sometimes is not as fresh as as it might be. Oh well I guess we can stand it for a while but it is no joke.

I have seen several aeroplanes around here. One was a monoplane. When I first saw her she was rattling away overhead at a height where I could just see the details. In about 2 minutes she was out of sight she was going so fast. There was a biplane overhead yesterday but she was not so fast. We dont go out of camp much so we dont see much of the outside world. The 67 Batt is here now and also drafts from the 62nd who are reenforcing the 54th & 47th. The 62nd was all broken
