There were six in our room; three boys from Revelstoke, one from Summerland and we two. The other day the land lady, a nice old lady, gave Bert and I a room by ourselves. It is good to have a good to sleep in so close to barracks.

Herbie is being moved to Victoria this week. The whole corps is being moved. We took the family around Stanley Park last Saturday.

To-day I start a twenty four hour guard. It a tiresome job.

I see Lieut. Priestman quite often here. He was orderly officer yesterday.

I won a cheap safety razor and a pair of brushes in some sports here to-day. Well I will close now. Your loving son Vernon.
