a relief. I have had my photograph taken according to your orders, I have not seen it. I shall probably look like a scared fish, as I loath being photographed and would sooner spend an hour with a dentist. Yours have not turned up yet, but I suppose that they are on the way.

I love getting your letters more than any others, it is perfectly sweet of you to write. You do not tell me much of yourself, though, at least not as much as I would like to hear.

How is "Margot"? If she does not get her coat yard enough to be taken soon, I shall have to send her some poison, or I shall never get that photograph.

Do you get any dances now, there are quite a lot going on here, we also have the opera which is quite good.

There is an American soprano who sings beautifully, but when she talks it is like rubbing a file on ones teeth. They are going all of Puccini's operas which I adore, also a few of Verdi's. I forget if you like music, I expect that with your character, you do.
