June 11. Major Wilmot & Col Ross came back .

13. Bn sports - V. hot. 16. Bde sports - V. hot - 2q Bn 48 points 28th Bn 29 pts ; 27th 23 pts & 31st 21 pts. Bn also won sevl points in Bde horse show.

17. Sund. Ch Parade. Inform Maj. Wilmot Major W.M. Maclean & I rode to Bengin and had a swim in the lakes found in old stone quarries. A great day.

23. Div. sports at [illegible] Brilliant day . Crowds - 2q Bn won 3 firsts 1. extra [illegible] baseball, tug of war (of course) & boxing. I had a very pleasant chat with Maj Genl Sir Arthur Currie just knighted & confirmed as our Commander.

24. Sund. Long ride with Maj. Luchinnot[?] in direction of Bethune.

29. Inspection by [illegible] - quite satisfactory

30. LtGenl Sir Arthur Currie paid us a long informal visit. Ten competitions.
