We are covering over our mud with a little snow but we are not sure that it is an improvement.

I hear that Lindley & Fowkes are both soldiers now. Unless it eases their minds I should think they might be better employed for there is no need for a Home Guard and neither of them could possibly be allowed to come over here.

I believe I am getting younger & stronger. My great craving for a life of adventure is being somewhat satisfied. With much love from your son
