Satdy 27 May Lovely day. Passed down the Kaministikwia R. Arrd Ft. Wm. about 9am (i.e., 10 am) but delayed till 11 before we could leave on march thro town. Had time to see Rt ½. Left at noon. At Schreiber men did physical exercise.

Sunday 28 May At North Bay had morning march & at Chalk River men exercised by NCOs. Open moor. Arrd Ottawa at midnight.

Monday 29 May Paraded as Battn at 7.40 CO took over at 8 a.m. & left Sparksville Sta at 8.15 & marched to Pault Square where Col Cullin took command of 88th sq & 90th Battn. Inspected by & introd to Genl Hughes. Inspected by & introd to HRH Duke of Connaught. Entrained at noon. Scenery very
