Zeffie has just sent me a long letter written at Christmas time and I have also heard from Lindley and Nell. Fowkes has also written me an excellent letter. Brian Drake is not very far away but I have only seen him once.

We have frosty weather with fine days. The lengthening of daylight is very noticeable now. It is not dark till 5 p.m.

Of course I am always thinking of you & I know that I am always in your thoughts. It makes a different
