My dear Lindley

I owe you many acknowledgements - for a tin of Hamsterley toffee, really first class, for another a tin of chocolate dates & figs most welcome & useful - there is not chocolate to be had fit to eat, and for another round tin standing by me which I have not opened because I have not quite finished the last.

My law library is increasing & my legal uncertainties thereby decreasing. Janson Cobb sent me Stone's
