June 9th Otterpool, Kent

Having reached England there is no reason why I should not state what you probably know very well that we embarked on the huge Olympic at Halifax & arrived at Liverpool yesterday.

After a delightful train journey through England at her best we reached here last night

By the kindness of a French Canadian Bn. 69th we got some Dinner of sorts likewise breakfast orwise there would have been nothing for us as only the tents had been provided.

Our future movements are quite uncertain. We have had nothing but depressing news since we sighted Ireland.
