I have recieved no notification of embarkation yet, but surely it can't be long now. I'm getting horribly fed up with this waiting. Of course I still get my "quid" a day so its only costing the Gov't. more to keep me here. Am keeping pretty fit and very quiet. If one moves in London one has to spend money - its awful. Talk about England being a cheap place to live in! My impression is that it is a rich man's country.

I met Kenneth Macdonald here at noon and am going over to the Savoy to see him now, he was in a hurry to keep an appointment when I saw him.
