Gen. Currie. He came home recovered from his wound and then had his tonsils removed. He had a bad time with that and is now in convalescent hospital. His mother is doing war work on the Board of Agriculture and came in town Monday morning. She looks a good deal older than she did five years ago. Her hair in front is almost white now. She is, of course inordinately proud of Robin and took care to make it plain to me how important a post he held at the Canadian Corps headquarters. She hasn't changed a bit in that way.

I think I told you of meeting Godfrey Leslie last time I wrote, did I not? Haven't seen him for about a week now - suppose he's away somewhere.
