Tommy has not been heard from as yet, but word ought to come through soon. His aunt is most anxious about him.

Yes, Mother, it would be awfully nice if you should write Mrs. Blomfield. They certainly were most kind to me and I appreciate it, I can tell you. The address is "Castle Lodge", Pontefract, Yorks. They have written me several times since I was there, and are counting on my going to them on my next leave! I demurred somewhat but they declare they are most anxious as to my wellfare and would like very much to see me again. I don't know what to do. Expect I will go and stay a day or so, but certainly can't foist myself on them for all my leave in England.
